The Fiji Corrections Service and Motibhai & Company Limited have signed an agreement for its billboard signage within the new remand centre site.

Motibhai had previously secured the spot for 5 years from 2007 under an agreement with the Department of Social Welfare’s Boys Centre at Walu Bay.

In 2001 however, the site was formally handed over to the FCS for its new remand centre.

A similar agreement was signed over the weekend for a further five years.

For an annual sum of $10,000, Motibhai will continue to maintain the billboard at the site while FCS will ensure that it is in full display with a clear visibility at all times.

Motibhai Administration manager Dhinesh Bala said he was thankful to the FCS for its support adding that they looked forward to further partnership with the department.

Commissioner of Corrections Lieutenant Colonel Ifereimi Vasu assured that the FCS would comply with the conditions in the agreement and also thanked the company.
