YOUTHS GRADUATE WITH BLACK BELT

Youths demonstrate what they had learnt during the 12-month programme before being awarded with
Black Belt certificates.

The RFMF Unarmed Combat Academy at Delainabua was packed this morning as families and friends witnessed the Black Belt grading graduation of more than 40 youths.

The youths, who underwent a 12-month programme, comprised mostly of the children of members of the RFMF.

Chief guest at the ceremony was deputy Commissioner of Corrections Akuila Namakadre who congratulated the youths for their achievement.

“I know all of you here have worked hard to be able to get to where you are today.

“What you’ve learnt during the course of your training will help you in self-defence and you also need to be mentally and physically fit all the time,” he told the new graduates.

Namakadre also thanked the families for their support and coming in numbers to witness the special day for their children.
