The Wardens team hold off the Navosa strong sided team by sealing the victory 26 – 7 in the semi finals, sailing
through to the Finals.
I did not know that the discipline forces participated in tournaments like this. With the Army, Police and the Corrections
Services in the tournament, it has shown unity, discipline and leadership. These amazing players should come and play
in Western Australia said John Warner a first time visitor to Fiji.
Mr Warner who arrived in the country with his Wife and daughter last week,  said that having to come and spectate this
tournament added spice to my holidays.I am amazed as in Australia, the wardens are known only to look after hardened
criminals, but here in Fiji is a different story said Mr Warner.
The wardens team was hosted at Laselase village where the teams coach hails from. Having the own pomp pomp
girls from the village, the girls cheered on from the start to the finish supporting the Lepani Botia leaded side to the finals.

The team camped at the Laselase community hall in Sigatoka. They were welcomed by the coach Timoci Wainiqolo at the
village on Thursday evening as the team arrived for the Coral Coast Tournament.

The Timoci Coached sided team returned to Suva after a farewell ceremony by the Villagers of Laselase in Sigatoka.
