Mr Yellow Ribbon Emosi Ugavule during the Kings Talent show last night at Suva's Albert Park.


Mr Yellow Ribbon 2011 Emosi Ugavule rocked the crowd after an inspirational performance at Suva’Albert Park during the Kings Talent show last night.

Ugavule, 21, and seven others performed a number with the theme unity, peace and harmony.

The night was for the King contestants to showcase their talents and skills to members of the public in the form of songs or poetry.

He captivated the crowd when he delivered his message though the song that he composed himself.

He also portrayed the image of giving a second chance where Emosi and his friends dressed in inmate’s uniform.

The Serua lad said he will continue to be an ambassador of the Yellow Ribbon initiative so that society is aware of the concept of being able to forgive and accept inmates upon their release.

Ugavule added that inmates needed a second chance and they deserve love and support.

He is a final year University of the South Pacific student.
