INMATES GRADUATE FROM ANGER MANAGEMENT COURSE

Inmates who particpated and successfully completed the Anger Management and Purpose of Life course.

Forty-two inmates at the Suva Corrections Centre last week graduated from an Anger Management and Purpose of Life course.

The inmates were reminded by chief guest, Prison Fellowship director Malakai to know their purpose in life.

“God has given you a second chance so it is by no accident that you are here today,” he told the inmates.

“Without purpose, life is meaningless and useless. You must understand what your purpose in life is, then and only then will you have meaning in your life,” he added.

The inmates were also reminded to control their anger.

“Take control of your emotions because anger kills.”

Officer-in-charge at the Suva Corrections Centre Viliame Bulewa said while it was a milestone achievement for the inmates, they must not stop there.

“The certificate that each of you will receive today is not just a piece of paper. There is a purpose for it and it is your duty to find out what it is.

“Knowing your purpose will help you get back on track. Make the right decisions and change your attitude,” Bulewa said.
