CORRECTIONS, POLICE VISIT NATIONAL 7S TEAM

Lt. Col Vasu, ACP Ligairi (L) during a visit to the national 7s team camp at QEB yesterday.

Senior officers of the Fiji Corrections Service and the Fiji Police Force visited the national 7s team at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua yesterday.

The delegation was led by Acting Commissioner of Police ACP Isikeli Ligairi and Commissioner of Corrections Lieutenant Colonel Ifereimi Vasu.

Both forces were well received at the camp following a traditional sevusevu presentation.

Fiji Rugby Union chairman Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga thanked the two forces for supporting the team saying they would carry Fiji’s name to the Wellington and San Diego 7s.

FRU CEO Manasa Baravilala and Head Coach, Alivereti Dere were also present.

Corrections officer Lepani Botia is also in the team along with Emosi Vucago, Taniela Rawaqa, Joe Nasilisili, Samuela Bola and Jimilai Nakaidawa from the Police Force.
