Inmates at the Natabua Corrections Centre during National Toothbrushing
Day last Friday.

Inmates, officers and families of the Lautoka Corrections Centre took part in National Tooth Brushing Day last Friday.

Centre Officer in Charge Principal Corrections Officer Maika Tunisa said the centre is fortunate to hold this event as it created awareness in preventing tooth decay.

PCO Tunisa said it was also an opportune time for inmates, officers and families to learn the right way to brush their teeth.

“This is the day to use the right toothbrush and right tooth paste supplied by the Ministry of Health in partnership with Colgate Palmolive.

Through the success response last year, the Lautoka Hospital – Dental Department chose Lautoka Corrections Centre again this year to be part of this national event.
