Inmates receive purpose driven life certificates
28 January, 2010 Inmate Danshua Sharma receiving his certificate receiving his certificate from the Director of Family Ministries Nau Inise Tukana Five inmates from the Nasinu Reformative Centre on Wednesday, January 27 received certificates after completing a 40 Hour Purpose Driven Life Course that puts on the path to become pastors. The five inmates are Paul Gaunavinaka, Manoa Koroi, Jone Rabukawaqa, Selau Tikoisuva and Danshua Nand Sharma. Course Coordinator Pastor Samuel Swami said that the five recipients were the top students of the initial Christian Foundation course. “These five inmates have diligently pursued the courses of study and completed all assignments and necessary practicals required to receive their certificates. “These five young men have shown that God can be found anywhere and He is present behind prison walls, as well. “They have over the period of the course the desire to change and to become pastors. “The certificates are internationally recognised and these five can now enroll in any bible college. The recipients received their certificates from the Director of Family Ministries Nau Inise Tukana. www.corrections.org.fj
