New driver intake

In view of the increase in the number of vehicle fleet, the latest recruits into the Fiji Prisons and Correctional Service are all drivers.

Eleven recruits who are holders of driving licence marched into the Correctional Training College, Naboro this week to undertake a two-week induction course to prepare them as prisons officers.

The new recruits will be placed as drivers in the various prisons institutions around the country after passing out.

The course was opened by the Commissioners of Prisons Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua
