Do things from the heart
17 August, 2009
Nineteen officers that completed their Mid-level Leadership Course at the Fiji Prisons and Correctional Services (FPCS) Academy in Naboro on Friday August 14, were advised by the FPCS

Commissioner Brigadier General Naivalurua do their work with passion.

The two weeks course which ended with a full parade was tailored to improve and up-skill the junior officer’s standard of duties.

The Commissioner in his closing address to the course participants told them that they were selected so that they can become correctional professionals.

“Being correctional professionals has to come from the mind and heart.

“Leadership is about speaking well, the ability to read well, to write well and the ability to think well.

“However, to do these things well, you must have the desire to do things from the heart,” the Commissioner advised.
