WESTERN PRISON & POLICE TO WORK CLOSELY TOGETHER
The COMPRI with their meet with Western Police senior staffs
FPCS Commissioner Ioane Naivalurua meets with the Fiji Police Force in the Western Region.

The Fiji Prison Department and the Fiji Police Force in the Western Region will now work closely together in order to understand more of each others role.

This working relationship between the two forces was restored after a courtesy visit by the Commissioner of Prisons, Bridgette Iowane Naivalurua to the Western Region Command and Operations Center on Friday (23/07/10).

Commissioner of Prisons had a brief discussion with the Regional Police Commander West, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Isei Vueti and Regional Operations Officer, Superintendent of Police (SP) Jope Ralulu.

The two parties agreed that they should work together in sharing information in order to know the intentions of every prisoner using the facility.

Lautoka Policing District and the Western Region Headquarters will have a combine sports day next Wednesday (28/07/10) and a combine church service on the following day (Thursday, 29/07/10).
