SHIELD CAN LAST FOR 20 YEARS

Basketball Fiji Development Officer Laisisa Puamau at the end of three day Twisties Secondary Schools National Basketball Championship said the quality of the trophies donated by Fiji Prisons and Corrections Service were so good that they could last for 20 years. “The Fiji Prisons and Corrections Service through its Yellow Ribbon Programme donated six team shields for the winners. The shields were designed and made by the inmates at Naboro Prison. “The shields can be used for 20 years,” Puamau said. FPCS Deputy Commissioner Auta Moceisuva was at the closing of the annual tournament and assisted in presenting trophies to the winners of the six different categories. www.corrections.org.fj |
