India’s Defence Attaché to Australia and South Pacific Region Captain (Navy) Jatinder Singh today (Tuesday, August 31) paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner Fiji Prisons and Corrections Service Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua.

 
Captain Singh who made the courtesy call at the FPCS National Headquarters in Suva was given a brief of the FPCS’s infrastructure, the overcrowding situation in prison and the diversification of Fiji Prisons Industries to a fully fledged commercialisation entity.

 
This is Captain Singh’s third visit to Fiji in his capacity as Defence Attaché and his first to the FPCS.
