The International Committee of the Red Cross society is expected to make a visit of all Fiji's Correctional Services facilities throughout this month.

  The visit, based on an agreement between the Fiji Government and the ICRC is deemed to have a positive impact on and improve the daily planning and forecasts of the Correctional services.

The visit kicked off this moring in a brief overview of statistics, initiatives and local authorities work, given by Acting Commissioner Prisons Operations (ACPO) - Etika Kaurasi.

This is the second time the ICRC has made a visit to our local Correctional Services.
