The winning FNPF team which participated in the FPCS  Daring Fun Run, at Naboro.

The FNPF this afternoon scooped the top Business House prize at the Daring Fun Run held at the Naboro Prison complex.

FNPF Team 1 clocked 1hour 28 mins to grab the prize off Bank of the South Pacific. In the school category Lelean Memorial School took first before Nasinu and MBHS.

Meanwhile in the individual category- young Aisea Rinakama of Nasinu Secondary surprisingly beat Navy to justify running a 7.4km cross country in a time of 35.57.

The ‘Daring Fun Run’ the first of its kind to be initiated by the Fiji Prisons was a thought orchestrated to mark the end of the Yellow Ribbon month which is the month of October.

This years Inaugural Daring Fun Run is expected to be the first of an annual event.

Meanwhile a total of 19 teams took part in the run.
