The General Manager of DHL Fiji and the South Pacific Mr Nick Taylor on Friday, October 1 donated two computers to the Fiji Prisons and Corrections Service that will be used by inmates during their rehabilitation programme.

 

Mr Taylor who presented the donation to FPCS Deputy Commissioner Auta Moceisuva said that he hoped the equipment contributed to changing the lives of some inmates.

 

“It is only two computers, but I hope it proves the lives of the inmates.

 

Mr Taylor said that he was very impressed with the way the FPCS carried out its functions and by visiting; he has got some ideas in partnering with FPCS.

 

“From what I have seen, Fiji Prisons is very efficiently run; you are like a business with your well thought out strategies.

 

“I remember when it all started two years ago; you have come a long way.

 

“This visit has given us (DHL) some ideas in playing our part in helping you.”
