The Commissioner of Prisons and Corrections Service, Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua was conferred the Paul Harriot Fellow Award by the Suva East Rotary District, at its President’s annual meeting, held at the Fiji Club on Monday, the 1st of June.

In recognition of individuals who have contributed tremendously to the development of different sections of our society, the Yellow Ribbon Programme’s contribution to this cause in line with the objectives of the Rotary Club was duly commended.

The success though of the Yellow Ribbon Programme and its activities can be directly attributed to the vision, focus, perseverance, integrity and indeed the firm leadership of Brigadier General Naivalurua, hence the award.
