PRISON'S WELCOMES NEW OFFICERS

The Fiji Prisons and Correctional Service today welcomed two new staff into the service.

Commissioner of Prisons and Correctional Service Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua said that he welcomed the new officers Mr Fred Elbourne and Mr Anise Kaitu to the service and he was confident that the skills that they were brining aboard will be beneficial.

“I welcome Mr Elbourne and Mr Kaitu to our family and I am confident that the special skills that they both bring will assist us take the Prisons and Correctional Service to the next level.”

I reply Mr Elbourne said that he was thankful for the confidence that the Commissioner and senior officers had shown in recruiting him and he looks forward to working with them.

Mr Elbourne is currently the Media Liaison Officer for the Ministry of Social Welfare, Women and Poverty Alleviation and will be starting his official duties once he is released from his current position.
