Another eight prison officer have graduated with hapkido after five months of training at the Staff Training College in Naboro. 

The officers were trained by 4th dan instructor Jonasa Tonawai who is a prisoner serving at the Minimum Security Prison. 

The new graduates who joined 12 of their colleagues who graduated with Black Belt from the RFMF last December demonstrated their newly acquired skills before the Commissioner of Prisons, Brig Ioane Naivalurua and senior officers at the handing over ceremony or the Supervise Naboro Prisons. 

Brigadier Naivalurua congratulated the officers and conveyed his gratitude to Mr Tonawai for sharing his skills. Mr Tonawai is among the leading exponent of the ancient art of hapkido in Fiji.
