Offenders of the three  institutions in Naboro team up for the Team building exercise.

Twenty four inmates today (Wednesday, November 25) who were participants in a team building workshop were taught to believe and trust each other through eight team building exercises.

The pilot workshop the first of its kind for the Fiji Prisons Corrections Academy was opened by the Supervisor Naboro Prison Complex A/SP Jope Caginidaveta.

Commandant of the Fiji Prisons Correction Academy A/ASP Jona Waqavou said that the course was designed to instill hope, overcome fear, and learn about differences between individuals and learning to trust in others.

During the one day workshop the inmates worked on eight different obstacles;
1.    Spiders’ web
2.    King’s thumb
3.    Trust fall
4.    Mine field – individual
5.    Mine filed  - team
6.    Night line
7.    Stretcher carry
8.    Molten stream
