Seven prison officers and five female inmates at the Women’s Prison in Suva attended the course which ended last Friday July 17.

The baking training course was made possible through funding by the Ministry of National Planning and facilitated by TPAF.

In his closing address Mr Fotofili said that the new skill acquired by the participants is another tool that they could use to better their lives.

“This training has given the participants another tool that
they can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

“They can use this new skill for business opportunities when they leave prison.”
