CELL BLOCK HANDOVER
 THE Ministry of Works officially handed over an upgraded cell block to Ba Prison yesterday. Deputy permanent secretary Vula Vucago said the commitment toward rehabilitation of the prison complex was a priority one. The upgraded main cell block will now house 40 inmates with a minimum of 12 prison officers on duty at the complex. Source: Fiji Times |
