Inmates and female officers who attended the course during the opening ceremony

A baking course was conducted at Women's Prison yesterday 14 July 2009, which was opened by the Commissioner of Prisons Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua.

A total of twelve (12) participants attended the four day bakery course which consist of seven female offenders and five female officers.

The course is facilitated by the TPAF under the partnership of Prison department where the programme will be run for four days.It is part of the rehabilitation for offenders which are under going in prison to help them in whatever ways to live life and earn their living when released from prison.
