The students were fascinated with the dogs display. They were awe struck when hearing the clangs of the iron and keys at the Maximum Security Prisons.

They were students of the Vuda Primary School and Drasa Muslim Primary School, both of Lautoka, who made a tour of the Naboro Prisons complex as part of their end of the year around Viti Levu tour.

The more than 160 students accompanied by teachers and parents were also given a briefing on the current correctional programmes and the future direction of the Fiji Prisons and Correctional Service.

In response, the students of Vuda Primary School presented gifts which were accepted on behalf of the Commissioner of Prisons by the Supervisor of Naboro Prisons, Josefa Kulinidilo. The students also entertained staff and inmates at the Naboro Headquarters with mekes and singing
