Background Information
Maximum Security Prison was established in 1972 mainly to cater for security high risk prisoners which have been allocated by the Central Classification and Allocation Board from Suva Prison. It is situated at the Naboro Prison Complex along the Queens Highway in the province of Rewa. Maximum Security Prison is a Classified Prison and accommodates criminal convicted prisoners. Prisoner’s employment includes upkeep of prison institution and bakery.

Rehabilitation programs are mainly focused on Counseling Programs, Screen Printing, Religious Programs, Basic Tailoring and Bakery Programs.
