
Mrs. Naivalurua with wives of officers, female officers and other women stakeholders after the prayer breakfast
Mrs Kesaia Naivalurua the wife of the Fiji Prisons and Corrections Service Commissioner Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua on Saturday (November 28) led the wives of officers, female officers and other women stakeholders in a prayer breakfast to give thank for a prosperous year.
The prayer breakfast started at 0500am with melodious hymns and devotions drifting over the Suva Prison walls from the car park where more than 100 women gathered.
Also joining the wives and officers were female members of the Unity Baptist Church.
Thanking the wives, Mrs Naivalurua told them that they play a very important role in their husbands work as prison officers.
Mrs Naivalurua told the women that their contribution during the year has contributed towards the Commissioner’s intent both by their physical work and in the spiritual aspects as well.
Mrs Naivalurua also thanked the wives and the female officers for their support towards her as the Commissioner’s wife, over the past two years.
After the prayers and devotions the women joined Mrs Naivalurua in a light breakfast at the SCED Bure
